XYO has introduced a new AI software development kit designed to simplify blockchain application creation through AI-assisted coding tools. The launch represents the company’s latest effort to make decentralized application development more accessible to mainstream software developers without requiring deep blockchain expertise.
The company stated that the AI SDK enables developers to build applications on XYO Layer One using natural language prompts through AI coding assistants such as Codex and Claude. With the new system, developers reportedly no longer need to learn Solidity or fully understand blockchain infrastructure before launching decentralized applications.
According to XYO, the initiative is intended to remove technical barriers that have historically limited blockchain development to specialized engineering teams. The company believes this approach could significantly increase the number of developers capable of creating on-chain applications across multiple industries.
XYO’s newly launched AI SDK allows developers to create blockchain applications on XYO Layer One using AI coding assistants without requiring Solidity expertise or advanced blockchain knowledge.
Alongside the AI SDK, XYO also introduced XYO Data Lakes, a cryptographically verified data storage mechanism developed for AI-powered applications. The system is designed to support large-scale AI workloads by providing off-chain storage combined with on-chain proof of integrity and cryptographic verification.
The company explained that this infrastructure could improve data provenance, transparency, and auditability for decentralized AI systems. By integrating AI coding frameworks with decentralized infrastructure, XYO aims to establish a more efficient environment for developers building blockchain-based applications powered by artificial intelligence.
Currently, the San Diego-based platform supports more than 10 million nodes across its decentralized infrastructure network. The AI SDK is expected to function as a bridge connecting advanced AI development tools with blockchain-based decentralized systems.
Rather than manually writing smart contracts or navigating complicated blockchain protocols, developers can reportedly rely on natural language instructions to generate applications directly on the XYO Layer One network. The company views this transition as part of a broader industry movement toward AI-assisted software creation, often referred to as vibe coding.
Markus Levin reportedly emphasized that blockchain development barriers have long prevented broader adoption of technologies tied to identity sovereignty and data provenance. He explained that only a limited group of highly specialized engineers had previously been capable of bringing complex applications on-chain, but the new SDK was developed specifically to eliminate that restriction.
The platform expects the toolkit to unlock several new application categories that were previously expensive, time-consuming, or technically difficult to create. One example highlighted by the company involved AI-powered prediction markets, which traditionally required dedicated blockchain engineering teams and lengthy development cycles.
The company stated that developers can now reportedly deploy advanced blockchain applications, including AI-driven prediction markets, within hours instead of relying on large engineering teams.
The initiative is also expected to support blockchain applications in sectors such as gaming, healthcare, and decentralized AI services. XYO noted that its next-generation scalable decentralized physical infrastructure network, or sDePIN, would help support these use cases while improving transparency and transaction validation.
The AI SDK additionally supports the deployment of AI agents capable of executing transactions and validating actions with transparency across decentralized environments. The company believes this feature could become increasingly important as AI systems begin operating more independently within blockchain ecosystems.
At the same time, XYO indicated that additional partnership announcements related to robotics, gaming, and AI computing infrastructure may be introduced in the near future as the company continues expanding its decentralized AI ecosystem.
By combining AI-assisted coding, decentralized infrastructure, and verified on-chain data systems, XYO aims to accelerate blockchain adoption among mainstream developers and enterprises.
