RealStocks is an innovative cross-market trading product launched by MEXC in collaboration with regulated brokers for global crypto users. It allows eligible users to directly purchase real shares of publicly listed US companies, hold the corresponding stock assets, participate in Price Movements, and enjoy the full benefits associated with stock ownership.
RealStocks offers a simple account opening process alongside convenient fund transfers compared with traditional US stock investing. RealStocks bridges crypto assets with global capital markets and opens up a new investment channel for users.
In terms of account access, RealStocks offers a streamlined KYC process, which lowers the barrier to entry, allowing users to quickly access the US stock market.
From a trading perspective, users trade real US stocks quoted in USD, and the stock assets are held in the user's name. The platform supports core functions such as buying, selling, and position management. Returns may come from both stock price appreciation and shareholder entitlements such as dividends, giving users access to the full benefits of stock ownership.
For market data, MEXC provides limited-time level 1 real-time quotes and extended-hours market data. Eligible users may also receive real-time market data subsidies, helping them track market movements more accurately and make more informed trading decisions.
Through partnerships with licensed brokers, the RealStocks trading experience mirrors Spot trading. This significantly reduces the learning curve for users entering the US stock market and creates a smoother overall trading experience.
Open the MEXC website and log in to your account. Under Wallets, select RealStocks, then click Go to RealStocks to enter the RealStocks trading page. Carefully read, confirm the RealStocks trading agreement and submit the required onboarding documents, then click Open Account to enable trading access. The entire process is simple and efficient.
If your RealStocks account has no available assets, you can fund it using the transfer function. On the Portfolio page under RealStocks, click Fund Transfer and move funds from your Spot account to your RealStocks Account to begin trading.
When you no longer want to trade stocks, you can also use the same transfer function to move funds from your RealStocks account back to your Spot account, giving you greater flexibility in capital allocation.
On the Quotes page, you can browse tradable stocks across different market categories. Once you find a stock you want to follow, right-click and select Add to Watchlist.
Click Watchlist to view all stocks you have added, making it easier to track the assets you are interested in.
You can also double-click a stock name to view its detailed candlestick chart on the Stocks page, including historical price movements, trading volume, and other technical indicators.
You can select the stock you want to trade from either the Quotes page or your Watchlist. You can also enter the stock name or ticker directly into the search bar on the stock trading page to quickly locate your target.
In the order panel, choose the order type and trading method, then enter the corresponding price or quantity. After confirming that the order details are correct, click Submit Buy Order to complete the purchase. Selling is just as straightforward. In your holdings, select the stock you want to sell, set the sell price and quantity, and submit the order.
RealStocks offers several core advantages that create a more efficient and accessible stock investing experience. Real stock ownership ensures that users are purchasing actual shares of publicly listed US companies and can enjoy full shareholder rights. The seamless funding experience enables users to switch effortlessly between crypto assets and stocks. Lower trading costs, supported by zero-fee trading and market data subsidies, help reduce the overall barrier to entry. A seamless onboarding process enables users to quickly begin their US stock investment journey.
The ultimate goal of RealStocks is to make the transition from crypto assets to traditional financial assets more accessible, cost-efficient, and frictionless. By doing so, it helps users diversify across markets, hedge risk in different market environments, and build more resilient asset allocation strategies.
