NVIDIA’s presence in the automotive sector received significant momentum this week. During Auto China 2026 and the EXEED International Business Summit held in Wuhu, Anhui, China, Chery—the parent company behind the premium EXEED brand—unveiled a comprehensive global strategic alliance with NVIDIA.
At the time of the public announcement, NVDA shares were trading higher by 0.61%.
NVIDIA Corporation, NVDA
This strategic alliance spans three primary technological domains: sophisticated driver assistance capabilities, AI-powered cabin systems, and robotics innovation. The partnership positions EXEED as an early adopter among automotive brands deploying these cutting-edge solutions at commercial scale.
For autonomous driving applications, EXEED will construct its Level 3 and Level 4 self-driving vehicles using NVIDIA’s DRIVE Hyperion architecture. This comprehensive platform integrates the DRIVE AGX Thor processing unit, a certified sensor array, and NVIDIA’s autonomous vehicle software into one production-ready solution.
Additionally, EXEED will leverage NVIDIA’s Alpamayo and Cosmos development toolchains to create its proprietary autonomous driving software infrastructure. According to the company, this strategy enables a hybrid model—combining internal development capabilities with collaborative innovation.
For the vehicle interior, EXEED intends to deploy NVIDIA DRIVE technology to deliver what the brand characterizes as revolutionary cockpit experiences. The emphasis centers on generative AI capabilities: intuitive emotional engagement, situational awareness, and customized user services.
While this concept has become increasingly common in the electric vehicle marketplace, EXEED distinguishes itself by utilizing NVIDIA’s established infrastructure instead of developing proprietary solutions independently.
The strategic alliance extends well beyond vehicle applications. Via its EXEED×AiMOGA division, the brand will incorporate NVIDIA Jetson, Isaac Sim, and the Isaac GR00T humanoid robot development framework to advance embodied intelligence initiatives—encompassing humanoid robots and additional intelligent robotic platforms.
Chery characterized the agreement as fundamental to its comprehensive AI transformation strategy, referencing objectives outlined during its 2026 AI Night presentation. EXEED has been designated as the flagship brand spearheading this initiative, serving as the pioneering vehicle for Chery’s intelligent technology deployment.
NVIDIA’s automotive segment has consistently expanded its network of collaborators throughout international markets. The DRIVE Hyperion architecture has emerged as a preferred foundational system for automotive manufacturers pursuing advanced vehicle automation capabilities.
NVDA shares gained 0.61% on the trading day when the strategic partnership was publicly announced.
