KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 — Rohas Tecnic Bhd’s 86.8 per cent-owned unit, HG Power Transmission Sdn Bhd (HPGT), has received confirmation from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) that its investigation involving the company has been concluded, with no further action to be taken against the company or its officers.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Rohas Tecnic said the MACC had confirmed that no further action would be taken against HGPT, its shareholders, directors or former directors in relation to the matter.

It further said that the conclusion of the investigation has brought the matter to a close and provides certainty for the company and its stakeholders.

The investigation followed freezing and seizure orders issued by the MACC on Oct 17, 2025 under Sections 44(1) and 50(1) of the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing, Anti-Restricted Activity Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 (AMLA) in respect of certain bank accounts held by Rohas Tecnic, HGPT and Rohas-Euco Industries Bhd (REI).

Subsequently, on Nov 26, 2025, Rohas Tecnic and HGPT received notice of revocation of the orders, issued by the deputy public prosecutor under Section 50(1) of AMLA, a day after REI received a revocation order from the MACC under Section 44A of the same Act.

On June 26, MACC revoked the seizure orders previously issued under Section 50(1) of the AMLA in respect of HPGT’s bank accounts. — Bernama
